A Hilux commercial vehicle reportedly suffered brake failure at midday today, crashing into a light pole on Lisaluwa Street, opposite Teledalase’s house in Ondo City.

‎The vehicle, which was carrying bottles of drinks, reportedly veered onto the road divider as the driver struggled to regain control before colliding with the standing light pole.

‎‎An eyewitness attributed the crash to suspected brake failure, expressing relief that no pedestrian was using the divider at the time of the incident.

‎The impact left the vehicle on the divider, while the commercial car was quickly pushed away from the scene to prevent further obstruction or danger to road users.

‎No pedestrian casualty was reported at the time of filing this report.
